manroland Appoints Zenner to New Position

September 8, 2010  By

John Zenner becomes manroland Inc.’s Director of Customer Satisfaction, which the press maker describes as a new position to “ensure that customers receive world-class products, service, supplies, upgrades with customer satisfaction as the key metric.”

“Coming out of this recession, printing equipment buyers are increasingly interested in complete system solutions, instead of individual components. It is really no different when you buy a printing press in order to grow your business, you ultimately partner with a press manufacturer, and you want to feel cared for as an individual customer and not just part of the market,” stated manroland CEO, Vince Lapinski, in a press release. “Printers need total care providers, and manroland has everything in place to do just that.”

Zenner is responsible for establishing and monitoring internal customer programs at manroland, based largely on its PRINTVALUE program. He will also support manroland Inc.’s recently implemented “full line sales approach” that allows the company’s sales teams to handle both sheetfed and commercial web press product lines, as well as the PRINTVALUE program.
