Monadnock Paper Mills Inc., said to be the oldest continuously operating paper mill in the U.S., and AmerLink Paper Sales, a privately-held sales agency company representing specialty paper and board mills, have formed a new strategic partnership to create 100 per cent post-consumer waste recycled fibre boxboard.

“Our collaboration will bring unique and sustainable products to the market,” said Lisa Taylor, vice president of sales and marketing at Bennington, New Hampshire-based Monadnock Paper. “Our production capabilities and strong environmental profile align well with the needs of today’s print and packaging markets.”

The partnership’s first collaborative project resulted in Envi PC 100 Coated One & Two Side (C1S & C2S) Folding Boxboard made with FSC certified 100 per cent post-consumer waste recycled fibre. The companies describe the product as “unique stock produced in a pleasing cool white shade engineered for high performance and extraordinary print results for consumer packaged goods (CPG) applications.”

Family-owned Monadnock is a manufacturer of high-performance specialty papers for the technical, packaging, and printing markets.
