Moveable Inc., which was founded as Moveable Type in 1983 as a small typesetting shop in Toronto, celebrated its 30th anniversary this past October, reflecting on enormous change over the past three decades.
When Moveable was founded, as Joe Kotler, owner of Moveable, points out on his company’s Website, there was no Macintosh computer, desktop publishing or Internet. The company has been at the forefront of the desktop publishing revolution and, through 30 years of innovation and growth, today maintains key positions in commercial printing and, through Moveable Online, Web development.
More information about Moveable’s 30-year journey through the transitions of analogue and digital technologies can be found within the company’s online report.
