Mutoh Introduces ValueJet 2638

Mutoh has added a new model to its line of eco-solvent inkjet printers: the ValueJet 2638. The machine is designed for indoor signage, billboards, POP displays, fleet wraps and more.

Featuring a 104-inch print width, the seven-colour inkjet printer produces print at up to 1,168 square feet per hour. The staggered dual-head system produces print at a maximum resolution of 1,440 dpi. 

The machine will be shown for the first time at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas this October. The machine will start shipping in November with a suggested retail price of US$49,995, which includes a heavy-duty feed and take-up system, PhotoPrint SAi RIP software, media-roll cradle, and installation.

Options for the ValueJet 2638 include SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer, ColorVerify Pro and one litre ink bags for high-production environments.
