Naoki Sannomiya joins Canon Canada as senior VP & GM

Canon Canada Inc. has announced that Naoki “Mike” Sannomiya has been appointed senior vice-president and general manager for the company’s Business Information Communications Group.

Naoki first joined Canon in 1987 in a sales role with Canon Marketing Japan, and since then, has spent the past 30+ years building experience across Canon companies in Japan and North America. He brings extensive knowledge in marketing, direct sales and solutions planning for the company’s business imaging products to the role. Most recently, Naoki served as senior vice-president of enterprise services & solutions (ESS) marketing and strategy for Canon Solutions America (CSA) since 2017.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Canon team in Canada,” he said. “I’m excited to learn how we can support our Canadian business partners and how we can better provide customer-driven, scalable and flexible solutions for organizations of all sizes and industries.”

Naoki will join Canon Canada’s executive leadership team and will be responsible for the Business Information Communications Group’s various channels, sales groups and product lines, including all small, medium and large office printers; production printing presses; large format printers; software solutions; and IT services.
