National Graphic Buys HP Scitex

April 27, 2012  By

National Graphic Solutions of Delta, British Columbia, adds a new HP Scitex LX800 system to its production mix. Founded in 1993, the company specializes in display production and installation programs, such as fleet graphics and wraps, signage and banners, on both a local and national level.

The Scitex LX800, using HP’s Latex inking technology, is a 3.2-meter, 6-colour system with a top resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi – based on 10,560 print-head nozzles jetting 12-picolitre drops of ink.

“Out West, people are extremely conscious of the environment. Both governments and businesses institute green plans to help do their part,” stated Jed Sheppard, President of National Graphic. “HP’s Scitex technology has helped our green plan. We’ve been able to reduce both our waste and greenhouse gas emissions.”

The installation of the HP Scitex LX800 allows National Graphic to enhance its application portfolio with new substrates like mesh and canvas. National Graphic notes that its new HP Scitex LX800 system is the first in Canada to be certified with 3M’s Matched Component System warranty.
