New Renolit calendered film line at La Porte

American Renolit Corp. (ARC), a manufacturer of flexible and rigid vinyl films, has installed its new calender line ‘calender 35’ that will extend the capacity of its La Porte, Ind., plant.

Groundbreaking for the construction work started on June 26 and soon the first core equipment deliveries will arrive. The tangible start of the project will begin shortly with the launch of the recruitment process of 30 new full-time employees.

The additional equipment is expected to help meet the growing needs of existing customers, as well as develop new markets and applications. ARC says the new line incorporates the latest calendered film production technology with more environmentally friendly phthalate free options.
