Kenneth Freek has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Product Management for Heidelberg Canada, based in Mississauga, Ontario. In addition to the distribution of production equipment, such as sheetfed presses, CTP devices and post-press technologies, Heidelberg Canada is also heavily involved in the sale and service of pressroom consumables.
“Ken’s extensive experience in the printing industry and proven tenure with Heidelberg will position him well to promote and support our products in the Canadian market,” said Richard Armstrong, President of Heidelberg Canada.
With the company for eight years, Freek previously served as Sales Manager for Heidelberg Direct in Canada. He now replaces Jean-Francois Colpron, who recently moved to the company’s U.S. operations in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he serves as VP, Prinect and Consumables Product Management. Armstrong stated, “JF successfully established Heidelberg Canada as a key player in prepress and consumables. His vast experience will be invaluable to Heidelberg USA as they grow their presence in the U.S. Consumables market.”
