Remembering Frank Parker of Parker Pad One of Canada’s most dynamic printing company leaders from the 1960s until his retirement around 2005, Frank Parker, the second-generation owner of Parker Pad & Printing in Markham, passes away at age 82. After purchasing land to design and build a new plant in Scarborough in the early 1960s, he invested in four- and five colour presses and pushed them with innovations like the application of remoistening glue for print. Janis Parker took control of Parker Pad in 2007, as her father continued to visit the company and staff until his passing this June. >> Learn More…
