Kruger Invests $250 million in Trois-Rivières Kruger Packaging L.P. plans to make an investment of $250 million to convert the No. 10 Newsprint Machine at its Trois-Rivières mill to manufacture 100% percent recycled lightweight linerboard by 2017. The project is to be carried out with the support of the Government of Québec, which is providing $190 million. As a result of this investment, the Québec government will have a 25 percent ownership in a new company which has assets in excess of $600 million, and more than 800 jobs, including 620 in Québec that will be secured.
