HP Unveils New PageWide Web Press After announcing plans to develop a new inkjet-based Web press more than a year ago, HP Inc., in co-development with KBA, has unveiled the much-anticipated the HP PageWide Web Press T1100S aimed at corrugated packaging. The system features a 2.8-metre (110-inch) width, prints speeds of up to 183 linear metres (600 linear feet) per minute, and the ability to print on standard uncoated and coated liners with a bonding agent and pigmented CMYK inks. DS Smith Packaging of Brussels, which sold over six billion boxes in its 2014/2015 fiscal year, is the first company in the world to install the T1100S press. >> Learn More…
