Edward (Ed) Bespflug passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Calgary, on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the young age of 45. Ed resided in Calgary, Alta., where he was the Western Canada regional manager for the Printing Ink Company, Rycoline Inc.
Ed is a single parent of two, Caiden and Nicole, who lived with him at the time of his death. He always made it known how proud he was of his children. He was a very supportive and dedicated father. He is sadly missed by Caiden, Nicole, his mother Bea, sister Sheri (Keith), nieces Rachel and Kaitlyn, predeceased father Melvin and many other family and friends.
Ed was extremely passionate towards the printing industry where he forged a successful career for himself. He was a graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) where he earned a diploma in print management technology while he worked as a pressman at Sundog in Calgary.
Ed was always upbeat, energetic and full of life with a crazy sense of humour. He was always the first to offer help and support to anyone in need.. Throughout his short life and career in print he touched a lot of people far and wide who call him a friend, leaving all saddened, but with a smile and chuckling when remembering times together.
Anyone who knew Ed, who self-proclaimed that he “was one-of-a-kind,” will agree with him. You are sadly missed, our friend!
