OCP Custom Graphics installs new Heidelberg platesetter
January 24, 2025 By Nithya Caleb

OCP Custom Graphics, a Calgary, Alta.-based fourth-generation, family-owned business, recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the company upgraded its operations with a new platesetter from Heidelberg.
Started in 1953 as Oil City Press, OCP Custom Graphics has been owned and operated by the Kletke family for nearly its entire history. Nearly two decades ago, OCP made its first investment in Heidelberg Speedmaster technology. While offset printing remains the backbone of its business today, OCP has expanded into new markets including digital and wide-format services and in-house vehicle wrapping, prompting its recent rebrand from Oil City Press to OCP Custom Graphics to better reflect its capabilities.
“We’re always looking to stay on top of the latest industry trends,” said vice-president Pam Kletke. “Our diverse product offering allows us to efficiently handle all projects – no matter the size – completely in-house from conception to completion.”
To uphold the high quality that has sustained its business for over 70 years, OCP recently replaced its aging first generation Suprasetter Ctp with a new Suprasetter A75.
“Our newest Suprasetter has helped our overall productivity while improving quality. It has been a game-changer in helping us consistently deliver the exceptional products we are committed to providing our customers,” said Kletke.
