Premier Printing Installs Ryobi UV-DI

January 22, 2013  By

Premier Printing of Winnipeg has purchased a new Ryobi UV-DI press. According to distributor Canadian Printing Equipment, it is the first Ryobi waterless UV-DI press installation in Canada.
The addition of this new press, according to Premier Printing, will allow the company to offer 16-micron quality across all substrates, including plastic, PVC, Polypropylene and various synthetic papers. The powderless technology cures instantly, allowing pieces to be sent to bindery immediately.
Premier Printing was founded in 1962 and describes itself as a full-service commercial and trade printer that offers offset, wide-format, toner and variable data printing. The company also has an in-house bindery and mailing facilities in its 75,000-square-foot plant. Premier Printing recently also upgraded its prepress with the addition of a Fujifilm Javelin.
