Print Wisdom student mentorship program celebrates ongoing success

May 10, 2024  By PrintAction Staff

The Print Wisdom career mentorship program completes another successful session. Organized by consulting firm Connecting for Results in collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University’s (TMU) Tri-Mentoring Program (TMP), Print Wisdom has provided TMU’s Graphic Communications Management (GCM) students with the opportunity to find counsel from experienced print professionals this past school year.

Designed to help students make a smooth transition from school to the workplace, Print Wisdom pairs students with seasoned industry professionals enabling them to seek career advice, guidance and motivation and industry resources during their studies.

Since its inception in 2021, the mentorship program has helped 54 students with expertise across the industry from print production and graphic design to sales and leadership.

“CFR is committed to giving back to the community and we are thrilled with the industry support we’ve received for Print Wisdom. Thank you to all of the mentors who have participated and helped set the students and industry up for future success,” said Bob Dale, COO & senior VP, Connecting for Results.

“Connecting with industry professionals is valuable to the student experience and they greatly benefit from this opportunity,” said Natalia Lumby, chair, Graphic Communications Management, the Creative School, Toronto Metropolitan University.

The Print Wisdom program returns this fall. Industry professionals who are interested in participating should keep an eye out for more information on the GCM LinkedIn page.
