Printful partner campaign for Ukraine earns celeb support

February 17, 2023  By PrintAction Staff

The war in Ukraine has been going on for almost a year, leaving children suffering from terror, destruction, and displacement. These children urgently need emergency shelter, health care, and psycho-social support among other assistance. The international campaign #bravehood is raising funds to give hope and serve as proof of what commitment and courage can achieve.
A small group of people at the Guiding Light initiative from Austria were brave enough to approach international music stars and ask for support. Their idea is to help children in Ukraine and those on the run by selling T-shirts, hoodies, and other items created with the help of their print-on-demand partner Printful. This merch would be created with iconic song lyrics and all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.
Christian Stiegler and Ramona Kandinger, the founders and directors of Guiding Light, are passionately behind this campaign. “We are happy that world-class artists have also joined our idea. Now we just need the support of their fans to help this idea succeed,” they said.
The response has been enormous. Some of the best-known stars of the music scene were immediately willing to provide lyrics to their most popular songs for the #bravehood campaign. Artists include Coldplay, the Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Nick Cave, Paul Simon, Garbage, Dolores O’Riordan from the Cranberries, Dido, Glen Hansard, Natalie Merchant, and Wir sind Helden.
