Printing United 2019 opens call for presentations

January 9, 2019  By PrintAction Staff

The organizers of Printing United 2019 have opened the call for presentations for the printing-focused North American expo. Submissions will be accepted until February 22.

Scheduled for October 23-25 in Dallas, Texas, the 2019 debut of Printing United is expected to feature nearly 100 educational sessions on topics including new technologies, printing techniques, market trends and conditions, and sales business strategies. The new exhibition, co-owned by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and NAPCO Media, replaces the SGIA Expo which retired after its 2018 event in Las Vegas, Nev.

“Printing United is a new event designed to meet the needs of today’s printing businesses, regardless of the segments they serve or are considering,” explains Ford Bowers, President and CEO, SGIA. “In keeping with the newness of the expo, we’re also seeking new ideas, new opportunities and new experts who understand today’s dynamic printing industry.”

Sessions proposed should be non-commercial in focus, and should not promote any specific company or its technologies. Final session selections are made utilizing the input of committees of industry professionals who score proposals based on their quality and relevance to the needs of the printing community.

Proposals can be submitted through the Printing United presentation portal.
