Almonte, Ontario-based Pxlworks has purchased a Fujifilm Acuity Advance LT flatbed printer to service its customers.
“We were in search of an affordable and upgradable flatbed printer that would produce a quality product which would meet or exceed the demands of our clients for direct to substrate print applications, while at the same time, cutting down on our production time and material costs,” said Pxlworks Senior Partner Rodney Groulx.
Pxlworks is a six-year-old display graphic printer that provides advertising and marketing promotion printing services to design firms and high-tech companies in their community and the greater Ottawa area.
The Acuity Advance LT is a four-colour flatbed system which has an optional roll-to-roll capability. It prints on substrates up to 86.7-inches wide in roll format and can print rigid substrates up to 49.2 x 98.4-inches, with full bleed. The machine made its debut in the first half of 2011.
