Responsive Mailing Services has installed a new Pitney Bowes FlowMaster RS Flex inserting system, which allows the Barrie, Ontario, company to work with higher volumes and larger clients, as well as intelligent-matching production.
Established in 2002, Responsive Mailing Services (RMS) is a family-run business specializing in secure transaction-based mail, direct mail and bulk mail services mainly for the banking and insurance industries. In its fifth year of operation, RMS moved into its current 6,500-square-foot facility.
“Our customers are consistently asking us to deliver projects on tighter timelines,” stated Terry Waide, President and owner of RMS. “It’s essential to provide top quality work regardless of deadlines in order to retain customers and grow our business.”
The FlowMaster RS Flex inserter – driven by servo-motor technology – processes materials at speeds of up to 16,000 mail-pieces per hour. This system is designed to help users automate previously manual tasks in a one-operator integrated work-cell. FlowMaster RS Flex can be configured to process letters and flats on the same platform.
Pitney Bowes of Canada Ltd. is headquartered in Mississauga with approximately 1,300 employees across the country.
