Avanti, BCC Software team up for software integration

Avanti has announced the integration of its Slingshot’s Print MIS software to BCC Software’s BCC Mail Manager postal software, a USPS CASS/PAVE certified platform.

The integration, North York, Ontario-based Avanti explains, will provide print and mail shops with “seamless communication” of the mailing and production requirements for a job and is designed to eliminate risk and errors that typically result when mailing lists are processed.

Postage, reports and production mail files will now be added directly to an Avanti Slingshot Order so that mission critical information will be centrally located. Business requirements that impact mail sorting rules will be communicated automatically to Avanti Slingshot to create correct mail drop and postage information, it explains.
 
“With so many of [our] customers already relying on BCC Software’s Mail Manager solution, the integration represents an obvious win for customers on Avanti’s platform,” Avanti CEO Patrick Bolan said.

The integration will be featured at the upcoming National Postal Forum in San Antonio, May 6-9, 2018.
