January 24, 2012  By

St. Thomas Printing of Talbotville, Ontario, recently installed a new Polar 66 cutter, first purchased in late 2011 through Heidelberg Canada. The family owned commercial printing operation was founded in 1990 and primarily serves customers in the London, St. Thomas and Talbotville area.

The Polar 66 cutter, equipped with a 5.5-inch monochrome display, holds a 26.38-inch (670 mm) cutting width and feeding depth. The knife speed of the machine, which employs a quiet hydraulic knife drive, reaches 20 cycles per minute. The Polar 66 cutter allows for carrying up to 198 programs.
