Canadian Print Scholarships appoints Steve Falk as executive director, effective July 1, 2024.

A highly recognized Canadian industry leader, Falk has led many teams and businesses in the publishing, print and direct mail industries. His passion for developing others and supporting diverse industry interest groups has been exemplified with leadership roles with the Sustainable Mail Group, Digital Imaging Association and NAMMU associations.

Falk will work closely with Ken Freek, the former executive director of Canadian Print Scholarships. Freek will retain an active role with the Canadian Print Scholarship team in the newly created role of marketing and social media manager.

“My career has been positively impacted by many mentors and collaborative business relationships. Joining Canadian Print Scholarships, as executive director, feeds the passion I have for enabling our youth to explore and enjoy their own careers in our dynamic industries,” said Falk.

“Building with Steve, Ken and our executive team significantly enhances our current resources and expertise to drive a vibrant funnel of future workers for our graphic communications industry sectors. Their leadership with our partner educators and generous donor community will enable us to reach further with our scholarship awards,” commented Mike Collinge – Canadian Print Scholarships chair.
