Appvion releases Triumph Digital Media

Appvion has expanded its line of Triumph brand products with the introduction of four digital media products: Universal Polyester, Premium Polyester, Synthetic Paper, and Pressure Sensitive.

The Triumph Digital Media products are designed to deliver durable digital printing solutions for challenging applications, explains Appvion, adding that the products are environmentally friendly and eliminate the need for over-lamination. As well, the products have been designed and tested for both dry and liquid toner presses produced by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
 
Triumph Universal Polyester is described as a rigid film with a smooth print surface and a toner-receptive topcoat that is waterproof, weatherproof and tear-resistant. It can be printed, punched, scored, perforated and die-cut. Meanwhile, Triumph Premium Polyester offers nearly all the features of Triumph Universal Polyester plus ultimate static control and alcohol resistance.
 
Triumph Synthetic Paper is a flexible film that is resistant to water, chemicals, oil and tearing. The product and has a luxurious look and feel that delivers vibrant color reproduction. Triumph Synthetic Papers can be punched, perforated, scored, folded and die-cut and has been engineered for high-heat digital equipment.
 
Triumph Pressure Sensitive is designed to withstand high heat, moisture and tearing, without shrinking or swelling. It boasts premium water-based acrylic adhesives to keep bumper stickers and retail and industrial signs in place in end-use applications without unwanted residue.
