SunDance expands packaging capabilities with Diana folder-gluer

The SunDance team with Easymatrix from Heidelberg.

Aiming to transition 50 per cent of its business to packaging within five years, SunDance, located in Orlando, Fla., recently purchased a new Diana Go 85 high-speed folder-gluer from Heidelberg. The Diana Go complements a new Easymatrix diecutter the company installed earlier this year and will help SunDance lower costs, lessen spoilage, and achieve better lead times for its customers.

Founded in 2007, SunDance is a multi-channel print and marketing solutions company. Since installing the Easymatrix in January, SunDance has been able to acquire new packaging clientele. The company, however, quickly started seeing a bottleneck downstream due to its 20-year-old folder-gluer’s limitations and quality issues. Running up to 300m/min, the Diana Go will quadruple the speed of SunDance’s current folder-gluer.
