Ultimate TechnoGraphics appoints new head of product management

December 6, 2021  By PrintAction Staff

Ultimate TechnoGraphics names Andrew Bailes-Collins as head of product management.

Previously, a senior product manager at Enfocus for the PitStop family of products, Bailes-Collins started his career in prepress, and for the last two decades has been working within product management with PDF-based prepress applications. Bailes-Collins is also technical officer of the Ghent Workgroup and is an industry expert in the utilization and tools for PDF workflows.

“I am very pleased and excited to be joining Ultimate as it is a very dynamic and respected company in the industry,” said Bailes-Collins.“Also, it is perfect timing, as the automation journey for many print service providers is increasingly shifting to focus on the efficiency, performance and profitability of the printing and finishing processes. I believe Ultimate’s solutions, with the automated imposition, ganging and nesting capabilities, combined with the ability to automate finishing equipment are perfectly placed to provide the solutions to meet this growing need. This new role will allow me to cover every aspect of the print workflow and work more closely with imposition and finishing automation, both of which are the future of print production efficiency.”

“We are thrilled to have Andrew join the team,” said Julie Watson, CEO of Ultimate TechnoGraphics. “Andrew is not only a seasoned professional and PDF expert, but he is also very knowledgeable about the challenges printers face everyday, and how this can be addressed. Together with the entire Ultimate Team, we will continue providing key solutions to enhance productivity. The end goal at Ultimate is to ensure the success of our customers and the entire print industry.”
