Webber Printing Adds Ryobi DI

April 17, 2012  By

Webber Printing, a third-generation commercial printing operation, installed a Ryobi 3404 direct-imaging press on its production floor in Brandon, Manitoba, which also houses traditional Ryobi offset presses.

The company’s new Ryobi DI press, purchased through Canadian Printing Equipment, is built around the ProFire Excel Imaging System and has an 18-inch format width.

Webber Printing was founded by Walter Webber who, upon arriving in Canada in 1905, entered the industry as a pressman for a local newspaper. Webber Printing was then established in 1932 when his son, Harry Webber, joined the family business. A third generation of the family, Don Webber, purchased the company in 1979.
