The newest superwide UV printers from Fujifilm, the Acuity Ultra Series are available in a 3.2-m and 5-m version.

“Fujifilm is eager for the North American debut of this all-new, superwide UV platform at SGIA Expo 2018,” said Becky McConnell, product marketing manager, Fujifilm North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division. “This remarkable press will appeal to industry professionals with its higher productions speeds, photographic-like quality, and overall versatility.”

Utilizing Fujifilm’s new Uvijet GS inks, and with a 3.5 pl drop size, the grand format Acuity Ultra is designed for the high-end indoor display market, especially for luxury brands, with quality comparable to litho, says the company. The Uvijet GS ink series, developed specifically for use with the Acuity Ultra Series of printers, produces a low-build ink film, described as delivering “excellent coverage and adhesion, high density vibrant backlits, and a durable finish.”
