A new collaboration between Infigo Software and Afinia Label aims to enable instant, in-store, real-time printed personalization across a range of products.
With Afinia’s industrial colour label printing equipment, Infigo Software will deliver the front-end user experience to enable product and brand websites as well as live 3D product previews.
“For the first time ever, everything needed to run a complete, end-to-end personalization campaign in-store in real time, on any number of products, is available to any business, no matter its size; and all from one unique collaborative solution,” says Infigo.
Douglas Gibson, Managing Director and Founder of Infigo Software, says the collaboration will demonstrate the true, limitless possibilities of personalization.
“We think once the public see this functionality in action they will embrace it and take it to places even we haven’t considered,” he said.
The two brands will showcase the collaboration at Dscoop Vienna in Austria on June 13-15.
“In today’s world, retail stores are looking for ways to fight back against e-commerce and get customers back through the doors. Similarly, customers are looking for ways to identify with a brand; by being in the store and able to interact with the product on a personal level, seeing the product being personalized Infigo Software in front of their eyes, creates for the customer the emotional connection that will tie them to a brand,” Nathan Daniel, EMEA Sales Manager for Afinia Label, said. “For the stores themselves, it secures a higher footfall and ensures more time spent in the store by each customer.”
As part of a recent holiday campaign with Kmart Australia, Afinia Label L301 Colour Label Printers were deployed across 214 stores to personalize labelling on jars of Nutella and Vegemite, noting the promotion offered a unique experience for customers visiting the bricks and mortar stores and generated sales of over 300,000 jars.
