Scott Bloxham becomes Regional Sales Manager Canada for ink manufacturer Flint Group, which created the position to better serve the Canadian printing market.
Based in Luxembourg, Flint Group is the result of the late-2005 merger between XSYS Print Solutions and Flint Ink Corporation. The parent company generated revenues of € 2.2 billion (US$2.9 billion) in 2010 and employs around 7,300 people, worldwide.
Bloxham is to primarily focus on the flexographic printing market, into which Flint sells its line of nyloflex photopolymer plates, rotec sleeves and adapters. Bloxham has nearly 20 years of flexography experience based on his previous positions as a press operator, CSR and technical sales representative.
“The addition of Scott to our team in Canada further strengthens and renews our efforts to develop Flint Group’s business in this major market,” said Jim Rogers, Vice President and General Manager, Flint Group Flexographic Products, North America.
