Through competitive prices, high quality products, and superior customer service, Ranger Printing has maintained a loyal customer base for nearly 30 years. The Central Florida commercial printer recently installed a new Polar D 80 Plus automated, high-speed cutter from Heidelberg.

Previously equipped with Heidelberg’s smaller Polar 66 cutter, Ranger was unable to cut down larger 28 x 40 in. parent sheets for its digital presses, and with current paper shortages, the company was struggling to find the best paper to accommodate its customers’ varied needs. Ranger’s new Polar D 80 Plus cutter, installed in July 2022, can cut sheets up to 31.5 in.s wide with a higher stack height of 4 in. According to Bill Lane, president of Ranger Printing, “The larger sheet sizes means we can cut a wider variety of paper types and sizes, so we are able to take on jobs that we had to turn away in the past.”
