Four Canadian Printers Win Benny Awards

C.J. Graphics, led by President Jay Mandarino, won three of the total six Benny Awards earned by Canadian printing companies in the 2012 Premier Print Awards, hosted by Printing Industries of America (PIA). Colour Innovations of Toronto, Friesens of Altona, Manitoba, and Met Fine Printers of Vancouver each received one Benny Award.

In related news, the Binding Industries Association (BIA), which is a special-interest group of the PIA, also handed out its 2012 Product of Excellence Awards. Pacific Bindery Services of Vancouver, BC, was the lone Canadian winner, picking up two of the BIA’s top finishing awards.


While the PIA also hands out Awards of Recognition and Certificates of Merit within its Premier Print Awards competition, the Benny is reserved for those companies that have earned a Best of Category designation, including:
