Inca Digital, a manufacturer of large-format printing technology, has appointed Dr. Nigel Sherman as its first Business Development Manager. Sherman is a chartered physicist who gained printing-industry experience
working with Videojet on new product developments, while also spending
time with an optical switch company.
In its 10-year history, Inca, which is now part of the Dainippon Screen Group, has been a leading developer of flatbed inkjet machines, which includes products like the Onset, Onset S20 and Spyder.
“[Sherman] has the right mix of skills and experience to spearhead the company’s commercial expansion into new areas,” stated Dr. Linda Bell, CEO of Inca Digital. “The sophistication and capabilities of inkjet technology have evolved very quickly and with him on board we are in a strong position to evaluate and take advantage of these new opportunities to further grow the business.”
