Mitchell launches new brand identity

July 14, 2023  By PrintAction Staff

Mitchell Press, Burnaby, B.C., rebrands itself, drops the word, ‘Press,’ from client-facing logos.

The new brand identity reflects “Mitchell’s commitment to partnership, innovation, excellence, and the future of print communication.”

“While our legal name remains Mitchell Press Ltd., we removed the word ‘Press’ from our client-facing mark because today our services are so much broader than print alone. While print remains an integral part of our business, we prefer a non-traditional approach by empowering print through data analysis, web development, graphic design, print management tools, and sustainable production solutions,” explained Mitchell’s executive vice-president Scott Gray.

The two halves of the new Mitchell mark represent Mitchell as the supplier and its client, working together to create a valuable artifact, be it print, data, or any other desired. The colour palette remains consistent with the addition of “Gamma,” a series of images representing sustainability, innovation, technology, and creativity to lead the conversation.

The Mitchell Group consists of Mitchell, its digital marketing division, Project28, and Pacific Bindery and trade services.
