Ryerson’s Cameron Mady receives Warren Wilkins scholarship

January 20, 2020  By PrintAction Staff

Cameron Mady, a first year Ryerson University student, has been selected by Canadian Print Scholarships to receive the Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship for the 2019/2020 academic year.

The prestigious $5,000 scholarship was established to honour the late Warren Wilkins, a visionary leader in the Canadian printing industry who worked to foster and support new talent for the industry. It is given to a student starting their post-secondary studies toward a career in the graphic communications industry.

“Cameron is a great example of a young person whose interest was piqued at an early age and who has pursued the path to the Graphic Communications Management program,” says Tannisha Lambert, Program Manager.

“I love every aspect of the industry and am truly fascinated by the entire process, from the conception of design to receiving the finished product,” adds Mady.

The mission of The Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund (CPISTF) is to attract students to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enrol and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
