Graphiscan, one of the largest printers in Quebec, installs the HP Indigo 100K digital press. It is the first printer in Eastern Canada to use this press.

Designed for offset transfer, this B2 press has a digital printing capacity of 6000 sheets per hour. The new press will be operated in Graphiscan’s Montreal printing plant.

“Graphiscan is a long-standing customer of ours and has invested heavily in the latest technologies to remain a leader in its field,” said Steve Daigle, industrial sales business manager at Hewlett-Packard for Eastern Canada.

The HP Indigo 100K is designed for printers for whom short runs make up a medium to high volume of their volume. With this acquisition, Graphiscan is confident of reducing lead times, automating production and reducing the costs associated with the previous technology.
