Meteor Inkjet launches new line of DropWatchers

Meteor Inkjet, an independent supplier of electronics and software to drive industrial inkjet printheads, has enhanced its portfolio with the launch of a new DropWatcher family of products.
Meteor DropWatchers are turnkey systems designed for evaluating and optimizing printhead and ink combinations using electronics that can be transferred straight from the lab to manufacturing, the company explains.
Driven by a single Windows 10 PC, Meteor DropWatchers incorporate interchangeable printhead mounts and support industrial inkjet printheads from Fujifilm Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Ricoh, Seiko Instruments, Toshiba TEC and Xaar.
“We are proud to crystallize Meteor’s extensive inkjet electronics and software experience into this new DropWatcher family. Ink manufacturers and print system developers will now benefit from a cost-efficient way to visualize and measure drops in flight while adjusting printhead waveform parameters in real time,” Matthew Pullen, Meteor’s product manager for DropWatching Systems comments, says.
