Monadnock Paper Mills appoints Daniel J. Burke as its new chief financial officer and treasurer. Burke will be assuming the role following the upcoming retirement of Andrew Manns in the new year.
“We are truly grateful for Andrew’s contributions over the years and wish him well as he transitions into his retirement,” says Richard Verney, chair and CEO for Monadnock Paper Mills. “We are confident Mr. Burke’s experience and strategic vision will contribute significantly to Monadnock’s continued success and growth, and we are excited to welcome him to the team.”
Burke is a CPA and brings over 22 years of financial management experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Most recently, he served as corporate controller at Velcro Companies, where he managed an international team of 60 accountants across the globe. Before his tenure at Velcro, he held the position of vice-president of finance at Iredale Cosmetics.
“I look forward to stepping into the role of chief financial officer and treasurer at Monadnock,” says Burke. “I am excited about the opportunity to lead in this capacity and contribute to the company’s longstanding commitment to sustainability, ensuring that we continue to make environmentally responsible choices in all aspects of our operations.”
