New Branding Strategy for Hemlock Printers

March 8, 2011  By

Hemlock Printers, one of Canada’s most-visible commercial printing companies, will approach the market with a new logo and branding message. The 43-year-old, Burnaby-based company used its former logo for the past 18 years.

“New technology allows us to give our customers so much more. So it’s important that our logo and our brand reflect that future focus,” said Dick Kouwenhoven, President and CEO of Hemlock. “Hemlock’s new look expresses technology-driven innovation in service while remaining true to our core principles of business integrity and superior print quality.”

The company’s new logo, which provides familiarity with the previous
version, is highlighted by the words “Integrity. Innovation. In Print.”

“Today we offer customers sophisticated online services that simplify how printed materials are created, managed and ordered,” said Richard Kouwenhoven, VP of Client Services at Hemlock. “Web-based orders from companies such as BC Hydro, Arc’teryx and Ledcor, have doubled in the past two years and now represent 50 percent of all orders received.”

Hemlock has posted an interesting Flash-based introduction of the new logo on the homepage of its Website.
