Israel-based Scodix, a manufacturer of what the company calls digital print enhancement machinery, has expanded its focus in the North and South American markets with the establishment of a new consumables warehouse in Chicago.
“Scodix customers will be able to order and receive the Scodix PolySENSE, faster than ever before,” said Dror Danai, Scodix VP of Business. “With Chicago being a main and central airline hub, delivery will be to either continent in the western hemisphere will be expedited significantly.”
Scodix currently offers two lines: The Scodix Sense S, which provides spot gloss effects with a high tactile feel, and Scodix Rainbow, which applies spot glitter. The company also uses its spot gloss technologies to produce what it calls Scodix Inkjet-Braille, for those who are hard of seeing.
The company, which garnered a lot of attention through its demonstrations at drupa last year, will begin servicing its North and South American customers through the new operation starting on March 10.
According to Ela Bukshpan, Marcom Manager of Scodix, the new warehouse is “just the beginning of our business implementations here.”
