Canadian Printing Equipment to Distribute Euclid

July 15, 2014  By PrintAction Staff

Canadian Printing Equipment, headquartered in Winnipeg, becomes a distributor for Israel-based Highcon’s Euclid cutting and creasing equipment.

Highcon named five new Euclid distributors, including A to Z Graphic Solutions in Israel, Castiel Group in Mexico, Matset in Turkey, MGraf in Italy and Monotech in India and Canadian Printing Equipment (CPE) in Canada.

Highcon reports clients have pushed the parameters of its unique Euclid system to work with N-flute and 10-point substrates, as well as metallic coated board. The company also points to Euclid’s growth with self-adhesive labels and sticker applications.

Highcon’s Light Editor software tool for the Euclid allows operators make last-minute edits of crease and cut lines, as well as apply partial cutting depth control, angled cut control, and individual box personalization.

Founded in 2009 by Aviv Ratzman and Michael Zimmer, Highcon launched the Euclid at drupa 2012. The system is installed at customer sites in Israel, UK, Belgium, Africa and the United States.
